Please allow me to introduce myself. Our little farm (50 acres) is located in NE Ohio. We have had this '52 Cub for as long as I can remember. I came on the scene in 1959 and Dad bought the Cub used at Mohler Tractor in Canton, OH. Dad had the engine "freshened up" (what ever that ment) when I was around 10 or 11 so 1970ish at the Chapman Brothers. These were the IH gurus for this area back in "the day". I find out at later time what was done at this "freshen up".

Just doing a little prep work on it right now as we are getting ready for the snow to fly. I went through the charging system and lighting. We have charge and lights! I haven't seen that for quite some time!!

Hopefully this picture posting will work. If it does you can click on the thumbnail and see the full size pic.

The hood/tank just went back on in the pic and we are still going through the carb.

Thanks to this forum for all the info gleaned so far,
Rod

Rod, great introduction and welcome to the forum. So many new guys skip the intro part and we know little about them. That's a nice looking Cub you got there. You have found that this is a great place for Cub info so enjoy. Keep us up to date on your progress with the Cub and perhaps you can make a few of the events

Rod:

G'day to you and congrats :applause: on becoming the keeper of your Dad's Cub. Looks like a very honest Cub with some real family history to it :D I see you have a Cub-54A Leveling and Grader blade as well. That should be useful during snow season  and with the chains you won't be sliding on ice or anything.

I clicked on your thumbnail link then right clicked on the pic, copied the properties and then wrapped the img tags around it. This is an easier size to see :)

I would recommend that you follow the links below. We have a lot of resources available to our members - check the links below
