Hello from SE Louisiana

Postby genegayle » Thu Jan 17, 2013 9:13 pm

Hello, my name is Gene. My family and I have served as missionaries to Piura, Peru for the last 8-1/2 years. We recently moved back to SE Louisiana, where we are from, this past September. My family had a Farmall cub when I was a kid, and I logged many an hour in the saddle. Ever since becoming an adult and starting my own life, I have always wanted to purchase my own Cub. Well, this past September when we moved back from Peru, I bought me my Cub!! I am new to the tractor scene (as a kid I just drove them, nothing more), so I am in the learning phase. I read up as much as I can, but with all the wealth of onfo on this site, it can be a little overwhelming. However, I enjoy it. I have been like a little kid at Christmas time tinkering with, driving and cutting grass with my Cub. Thank all of you for your wonderfull wealth of Cub knowledge.

Thank you to all who have welcomed me. Unfortunately I am unable to make the DSCF this year, too many irons in the fire, but who knows about next year. Everyone have a great weekend.
