Hi from Butler PAMy wife and I just bought a small 4 acre horse farm and figured out that a Cub would be the perfect tractor for our needs. After searching for weeks we finally found what we were looking for and brought home a '65 lo-boy with a finish mower. It runs great, but needs a tune up and oil change, and needs a few cosmetic repairs (front headlights are missing, and the fuel tank is barely mounted). This will be a workhorse tractor and I am looking forward to getting my hands dirty with this thing. I may be posting a lot of questions regarding where to go for parts and accessories, but the great thing is, the original operators and PM manuals came with the tractor, and those are in excellent condition! I am glad that I was able to find this owners club and forum, as I will have plenty of questions in the near future.
Re: Hi from Butler PAG'day to you and congrats
on acquiring your very 1st new to you Cub. Be careful ... these things are addictive and the herd could increase before you know it Suggest you spend a little time following the links below and familiarizing yourself with the resources that we have available for our members. Since you already have the Owner's and probably the GSS-1411 you can peruse those at your leisure as well, but we do have much more available. Enjoy the ride and especially enjoy your Cub

Re: Hi from Butler PAExcellent! You will like your Cub. The Woods 59 is a good mower.
Gotta warn you about the headlights, they are tough to find at a reasonable price. Very worthwhile to go through the Operator's Manual. There is a lot of useful information in it. 1971 Cub (Rufus) 1950 Cub (Cathy) 1965 Lo Boy Fast Hitch (Nameless III) 1970 Cub 1000 Loader & Fast Hitch (Lee)
