I've had my cub about a week. Its supposed to be a 49 model but the serial number tag is gone. Love it so far but I gonna have to get a plow and cultivators. I've mowed the grass noticed a little extra movement in the mower shaft. I took the mower off and yep it gonna need bearings. I dont know what type of mower it is no tags, but on the bottom of it it says Danuse mach tulsa ok. I put it back on greased it and mowed some more and I must have put the belt on wrong be cause its almost toast. I assume the v goes down into the two pulleys on the tractor and the mower as well. Well guys looks like I need parts. Hope I haven't rambled for to long.

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas. Yes, the guys have put a lot of work into this site. Valuable! Should be able to find some information on the cast numbers on each part that will help identify your cub. Post a picture of your mower and someone should be able to identify what you have.

Check for engine serial# just above and to the right of the carb. Would be slightly higher than tractor SN. Also look for casting codes on large cast pieces. Two numbers and a letter ( example 5•7•A). This will help date the tractor.

Danuser Machine Works = Danco
If it only has one pulley on top of the deck, it is a Danco C2 mower. Parts are still sold through CaseIH.

Thanks for mower info! I'm sure the info was already on here and I've been looking but I get to reading this thread and then that one and I get sidetracked.
