New owner of a 49 Farmall Cub

Even though I have wanted a Cub for many years I finally took the plunge and bought a 1949 Cub. It came with a front blade so that I might be able to push some snow in the Winter although I do not have any chains for it, but it has wheel weights all around. Would it be possible to move snow without chains?

Also the main reason that I wanted the cub was to mow a portion of my property by using a belly mower besides doing a restoration at some point. Whenever I see one for sale the ad states "for local pickup only". I have done a search in my local area (Spokane, WA) there are no results. So am I in for a road trip in my quest for a mower?

Welcome!!!

I plow snow without chains on two of my tractors, one has fluid and worn tires and generally needs some momentum to move the snow. The other has just weights but the tires are new and that one I usually plow in low gear and it moves it just fine.

Mowers aren't too heavy. The 42 inch woods is a great mower and would mostly fit on a pallet. Fastenal.com ships reasonably if the seller and purchaser are willing to go to there nearest store and do the work.
