New member new cub restorer NW PA

Postby smittybert » Fri Dec 11, 2015 12:08 pm

Hey, everyone I have been working on my girlfriends family farms Cub (located in Harmonsburgh PA)
I also teach in Linesville, PA and own a Motorsports (ATV, SxS, and Motorcycle) shop in Northlima, OH
From the serial number I believe its a 1953, The family doesn't know much about this tractor or when it was in use last (was a gift from someone)
Just cleaned the carb and replaced the throttle shaft working on electrical next. I have used yesterday tractor parts is there a better option or site sponsor that have parts avail?

Welcome to the Forum. There are also several Forum members who part out tractors. You can place a "wanted" in the Vine subforum or ask for sources for specific parts.

Welcome to the forum. Grew up just a few miles from Linesville and don't live that far from there now. More than willing to give some onsite assistance if needed.

I have used TM Tractor myself for parts, and they were first class parts, not cheap knock-offs, so I personally can recommend them. I have also used Yesterday's a couple of times too.

Cubs are fun to work on, and very simple machines compared to today's over-complicated stuff. These folks have always been able to answer my questions, and offer solutions to problems mine has had. Good luck with yours!
