Hi all. Might be getting ready to pull the trigger on a 57 cub for my son. Found this place and figured it would be good if I had any questions.

Grew up helping my grandfather on his farm with some red power. H, M, 544, and 1066. And helped my great uncle on his farm with a JD A, 620, and 3020. Miss helping out on the farm, but have fun tinkering with things. My lawn tractor is older then I am.

Welcome to the FORUM. You can find out just about anything you want to know about Cubs on these forums. Good Luck. Yeah, I like the looks of the J3, looks like someone is having fun. Your quote, "My lawn tractor is older then I am." reminds me that I have, at a young 73, some things that are almost as old as I am....and a '30 Model A Ford that is older than I am.

Wow buying a Piper Cub for your son, you're an awesome father ;)
