What did I just do...New guy here

Postby gjpgonzo » Tue Nov 22, 2016 2:49 pm

Last fall I had a friend help me pull my floating dock and jet ski out of the lake white his ATV. So my thought was I'm not getting any younger I should get me one of those to make some things around the lake a little bit easier. After searching for weeks, I came across this 1959 McCormic Farmall Cub, and I just had to have it. It's old and rusty but it runs great and still has all of it's original parts. So now the tractor bug has bitten hard, and I'm going to have to lean on the vast wealth of knowledge in this forum. I am very mechanically inclined, but I just need some guidance and help, as I have never worked on anything even resembling a tractor. Help me treat my 59 right.

Welcome to the Forum. If you click on quick links in the tool bar above, and then PDF manuals, you'll find owner's, parts, service and implement manuals available for free download. Also you can look in the "how to" forum for specific procedures. Lastly, feel free to ask any questions you might have.
