How to Make a Tin Can PTO Cover

Here is how:

Step 1: Start with a small soup can (the small one is almost perfect in length and diameter).

Step 2: Open the can and make soup. :D . Next cut about 1/4" of the bottom of the can off with a cutting tool, (be careful to not cut yourself on the sharp edges).

Step 3: Cut a slit down one side of the can, so that the can will tighten down evenly on the PTO assembly.

Step 4: Place a hose clamp on each end of the can and tighten down starting with the end closest to the tractor.

Warning **** You will want to round over, burnish or fold over and crimp the cut edges so that they do not cut the operator.
