Radiator Cap

Postby superman » Mon Jun 26, 2017 6:30 am

I have developed a small leak in the upper radiator outlet/fan bracket support on my Super AV. I notice some minor pitting when I reassembled the tractor, I ignored it thinking it would not be a problem. So I broke it all back down and now I'm going to JB weld this area flat again. I am using a 7 psi radiator cap and was wondering if this is a problem too. It is still a thermo-syphon system with no water pump. Is 7 psi to much pressure for this system? Is any one else running 7 psi cap thermo-syphon with no problems?

7 should be fine, probably about what it started with.
