Farmall A to 140 parts

Postby 1978cub » Fri May 27, 2022 6:29 am

Will the 4-bolt rear rims from n A fit onto 140 centers?
Will the rear rockshaft from an A fit on a 140?
Thank you

Rims, yes. If you're talking about a Super A, rockshaft will fit. If a plain A, I doubt it.

Yes, what Al said. The rear rockshaft (and a lot of other attachments) interchange between any of the series from the Super A through the 140. The plain A is mostly a different thing and relatively few things mix with the later tractors. The A didn't have a "rear rockshaft". There were rockshafts for various implements. But they were different from one implement to another.
