20 yrs of sitting outside. put on re-built carb and new plugs. 6 cranks from the 6:00 to the 9:00 position and it started. had to back up because of all the rust and whatever coming out of the exhaust. sounded like a new tractor.
that was wed. on thursday it still started great, but would not go into gear. had to use pb blaster on the cluch plate, then rock it back an forward. finally in 4 gear the cluck freeed its self. this was at my daughter's house 2.5 miles away from mine. i drove it up and down her road, annd it ran great, so we said why not and drove it home. adv. speed was 13 mph.Ran great, but need breaks.
what a great feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and a great way to end the week.

I'll get some pics up soon.
I think my float sunk. When I turn the gas on it flows out of the carb.
No problem, it's fun.
Now that it is home I'm doing the final tear down. Sending everything I can to get powder coated.

The float isn't sunk if gas doesn't leak when running. More likely the needle valve is not seating.
Best,
Mike
