A PTO oil sealMy pto oil seal was leaking oil so I deceded to replace it. I had to take it out in pieces, but I think there might have been 2 seals (one turned in facing the front of the tractor, and one facing the back of the tractor.) I looked in the manual I have and I only see one. Is this a special seal?? Does anyone know the part number so I can get another one?? THanks
Of all the things I have lost I miss my mind the most!!
The NAPA number is 11223. Made in USA by CR.

JL,
I recently had to do a 'quickfix' on my SA pto seal. Like you, I dug and dug and dug to get the old double leather seal out without taking down the tranny. I never did get all the seal body out, but I did get enough out to insert a modern thin oil seal into the cleaned-out space. The thin oil seal costs less than $7.00. I will replace the seal later with the good one--NAPA's costs around $50. So far, the 'quickfix' fixed the leak. Barn_cub Cub herd, 2 Farmall A's, 2 AC's, 1 Ford, 1 JD
