There may be several other suggestions in the "How To" section of this site. Most operations on the Cub are identical or very similiar to other tractors. On the pilot bushing. I have taken a broken hacksaw blade and sawed most of the way through the bushing then used a pick to bend up one side near the saw cut. Then with a pair of needle nosed plier pull the bushing out. Eugene I have an excuse. CRS.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com
Thanks for the advice; I got the bushing out with the hack saw method. The whole operation took about ten minutes
