Trailer size for FFA

Been lurking on this site for some time and this is my first post. My question is : What size trailer does one need to haul a Farmall A safely?Dimensions and rated for what weight? Thanks,papermaker

My suggestion would be a 6 or 7 X 16 with tandem axles and electric brakes. That will give you room for an implement, if you need it.

I'd look for a 6' X 12' tandem axle with 3500 lb. rated axles. You could probably get by with a smaller trailer but this would do it safely and it would pull well.

Thanks for the info. Is there much of a weight difference between a Cub and an "A"

a Farmall A (bare) weighs 1870 pounds, about 50% more than a cub.
