Postby beetle » Sun Mar 02, 2008 7:30 pm

Should be ready to spray the A in a week or two.
Question, what is not Red on a 1944 A except he rims?

As I understand how IH painted tractors (assembled the tractor than painted the whole thing) I believe most every thing was the same color except the wheel rims.

My Super A has yellow paint (had yellow paint before the sand blasting) under a coat of red.

All that being said you can paint any color you want. I plain on painting my A red and than some small parts black, air and oil caps, generator and starter and some other parts.

You can even add some southern chrome (As BD puts it) silver paint for steering wheel shaft.

Be sure to send us some pictures.
