1944 Farmall A Pistons

Question, can you replace original C113 flat top pistons with the higher compression dome top pistons available without any other engine/head modifications?

Hi Beetle

The A engine is a wet sleeve. I have heard that you can put super A or super C pistons and sleeves in it. I don't rember which it was. And it will increase the displacement getting more HP that way.

Yes you can but in the over bore of 3 1/8" piston in the A. Same as a stock Super C. Almost all kits these days are over bore and have some type of dome or concave shape to them, you will increase power like wise by doing so.
