farmall a same problem different day
Thanks everyone for your help but i am still having firing problems. I have changed cap and rotor, still no fire to the plugs. Rotor is turning. I put a plug wire on the high voltage wire with a sparkplug in it and it will knock your socks off!
Thanks, Brad .I have not replaced the plugs.

Re: farmall a same problem different day
A couple days ago i posted about my A having spark from coil to ditributor but no spark to the plugs.
This pretty much narrows the problem down to internal rotor timing.I have changed cap and rotor, still no fire to the plugs. Rotor is turning. I put a plug wire on the high voltage wire with a sparkplug in it and it will knock your socks off!
Mark the #1 spark plug tower location on the magneto case, just below the cap. Roll the engine over to TDC #1 cylinder and then remove the distributor cap and check the rotor location. The tip of the rotor should be pointing at the center of the #1 spark plug tower location mark.
I have an excuse. CRS.
