Casting codes on a SA?

Postby Song » Mon Feb 15, 2010 11:13 am

Are they casting codes located in the same place and mean the same thing on a Super A as a Cub?

Not sure where all they are located but the codes are the same for all the tractors.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

7 * 12 * W - There looks to be a 12 but I am not sure if it is a 12 or just a 2

trans housing
6 * 19 * W

gear box
7 * 2 * W

rear axle
2 * 22 * W

One year newer then mine! :)

I think the previous owner was shocked when I knew how to check all the casting codes! I really wanted to make sure my 1950 was all 1950.
