Super A, what is it?

Postby Gerry Powell » Sat May 29, 2010 9:25 pm

This plug is just below the PTO lever near the nameplate. It has a slot in it for a screwdriver, what is it for?

The poppet for the PTO shifter is behind it.

Jim,
is this just an access or is this a lubrication point? My distributor had a plug like this that the manual says to replace with a grease zerk at the first service. I was wondering if this was the same situation, I haven't found anything in the manual about it.

Just access. Transmission oil hits it from inside.
