Super A final driveDoes anyone know if the Super A used the same final drive as the A?

Re: Super A final driveno they did not. gears may have been the same, not sure, but the casting is different due to different ways of mounting implements.

Re: Super A final driveJohn, thanks for the answer, I've been looking today at the parts diagram and the A used final drive 9800 and the SA used 9812 but all the other parts are the same as far as I can tell. The axles carry the same part numbers at least and the bearings. Do you know what is specifically different between them? I plan on using my 3 pt. so if the adapter plate will bolt on the final I should be ok. I have a line on an A final at a fair price locally.

is that the position of the bolt holes for the implements or the bolt holes that connect the drive to the side of the transmission housing? Gerry
