That's a great score boss! Lots of trailer.

Looks like a fairly good haul there BOSS. Trailer looks heavy. IF thats a homemade trailer out of Trailer house axles,Id be ware. THOSE were a one use axle its very had to find tires and wheels if ya ever need em . THE biggest problem is finding wheel bearings,they are non existant. I passed on a really nice trailer because of that.GOOD LUCK to ya.

We have quite a few trailers running around here with moble home axles--or pieces thereof. I wouldn't be crazy about running them on long, long trips but if you don't overload them they'll do ok. Never had any trouble finding bearings, though grease seals were sometimes a bit of an issue but I have been known to just throw them away and keep the bearings greased good. You can buy a "lowboy" tire that fits the mobile home rim, they are heavy duty tires and last a long time, looks like Boss's trailer has them. We have had the best luck running tubes in them--seems like if they get the least bit slack, they'll jump off the rim!

They have standard bearings in them , and it has the good high dollar tires on it. The tires on the house trailer axles are the through away ones. They reuse the axles now. But bearings may be hard to get in Ohio

thats a nice trailer and tractor, im jealous of the demo super A are you going to keep the tractor? i was at AG supply in petersburg the other week and they have the lowboy tires mounted on rims for sale for about $96 a pop. i was tempted to get some for my trailer but i ran out of cash

I have always been taught that the to finding deals at auctions is going to a lot of them. Somebody like me, that goes to maybe 1-2 sales a year doesn't have near the odds!

You have to be in the area of the auctions too! Here in Alabama, I haven't even heard of anyone having ANY kind of farm equipment sale "regularly" around here. Every once in a while (maybe twice a year), you might run across an estate absolute auction that has some Farmall stuff in it. I just wish I knew of some good sales around here cause we just love goin to em. Even if we don't bring nothin back (but its bound to happen).

Seems like the auctions were thin around this way this winter/spring too. Usually there aren't any farm auctions once spring comes, then they crank back up in the winter.

There are no 'regular' auctions near me, but the ones worth driving to are pretty giant. When they have 3 auctioneers going at once, all day, that's an auction! Seems like Cubs and Cub implements are always a premium, but others, especially the big tractors can be a deal. Like the lottery, you can't win if you don't play the game...... to stand around in a cold rain all day is the ticket. Coming home empty isn't always a bad thing, can be better than paying too much.

Also, you never know what you bought till you start working on it.
