Being a bit new on the A, Super A side, I was wondering if there is a gear reduction unit for an A, Super A like on the Cub. Thanks. My AV is a bit quick even in first gear and boy, does it fly in 4th!!

It's the 36" tires that are causing it to be so quick.
Not aware of a speed reducer like the ones installed for the Howard Rotovator, for the A, though. Not saying they don't exist, just that they're probably even rarer than the Cub units.

Howard made a Reduction gear and a Rotovator for the SA. I have only seen them in their literature but never in person. I have one for a cub with the original brochures. Good luck trying to find one but it does exist

I've never seen anything in print for an SA. Great to know. Thanks

I will try to (remember) to take what I have to work and scan it and post. I will try my best.

There is a wealth of Rotavator information scanned and in the (New) Manuals section.
http://www.farmallcub.com/fcman/index.php?dirpath=./files/OEM%20Implement%20and%20Attachment%20Manuals%20and%20Brochures/Howard%20Rotavator&order=0Bob, if you bought your unit in Western Mass, I already scanned the manuals.

The 140 had a couple variations. Not sure if they were offered during the Super-A production.
Two types pictured and a video in this link:
