The first time I saw it, I was glad I was watching on my DVR, because I was able to back up and double check what I thought I had seen! It looked pretty good to me!

Looks like a pretty early A. It has the quarter turn hood fasteners and the early style drawbar. Square implement mounting socket on the front appears to be an early version.

The restaration work is a little ???. No guard below the pedals and painted magneto. Needs a gas cap. Does it look like an 18" steering wheel? It appears to have electrical equipment minus a starter. The really strange part is that it appears the starter hole has been covered with an electrical box cover. Maybe the starter was off when he got the call from the ad agency and had to cover the opening with something.

Looks like the front nameplate was removed, along with blanking out the hood side sheet.

Dale, can't do that on our dVR. When stopped or fwd/rev the bottom 20 percent is covered with DVR overlay.

Saw another one last night watching the movie "Grumpy old men".
In the opening scene you can see a tractor towing an ice fishing shack across a frozen lake infront of other shacks. Its set back aways so I had first thought it was a cub. Later on in the movie you see it up close and get a pretty good look at it its clearly an early Farmall A.
I pointed it out to my daughter saying its a tractor like ours and I get the
You know I didn't see any chains on it and it was pulling that shack right along. :D
