So id like to thank Art for assisting me with the head. I just need the pushrods gaskets and lash the valves.

Okay, so run this by me again. What are the procedures for putting the gasket on and torqueing the head? I know its 80 ft/lbs and that i have to retorque after warm up, but i don't know the bolt pattern. Like which bolt do I start with and what's the sequence? Also recommended sealer? Art said copper spray, I apply that to the gasket, not the head/engine, correct?

Also, what's this i hear about a different gasket between water pump and non-water pump engines? Or is that like a c113 and c123 difference thing?

get the gasket for your engine , there is a difference between water pump and no water pump, copper coat on the head gasket, torque from the middle out , valve lash .014 and .020
