Sorry Don, No photos, it was so close I do not know if photo would have shown it, my friends who is a few years younger than me has better eyes than me close up caught it.

Spoke with a older mechanic at the dealership where I work and he said he had run into the problem a couple of times in the past with Case IH putting to much sealant ( or whatever it is) looked like shellac to me on the outside of the seal and to just cut enough of it off the lip to get it started straight
