another governor question

Postby Fibber Mcgee » Mon Aug 04, 2014 6:57 pm

I replaced the governor thrust bearing on my 46 A.when I put the governor back on the tractor it feels like something is binding. The throttle to Governor rod moves fine but the governor to carburetor rod barely moves. how much movement should the governor to carburetor rod have?

Check to make sure the bumper spring isn't screwed in too tight or that the linkage isn't adjusted too tight to the carb
