Re: Farmall 100 measurements?
It should be the same at the Super A 130 and 140 if I'm not mistaken. I have one, if nobody helps you out by the end of the day I'll take measurements after work.

Re: Farmall 100 measurements?
I have the length here measured at 37 1/4 inches. My is stuck at the maximum length. These things are supposed to be adjustable. I could probably get it unstuck, but its perfect at full length for me. Eyeballing the angle at the top looks to be an easy 90 degrees. Its esentially 3 pieces. One 1/2 inch thick bar with a ~90degree curve at the top with two 1/4 inch thick bars slapped on either side onto the botton with room for a basic eyebolt for attaching it to the drawbar.
The 1st piece is about 27 3/4 inches while the two smaller pieces are about 14 inches even.

That is different then what I had in my mind. But it would be vey easy to make.
The one I seen was a solid round bar. Heres a diagram I found somewhere.

Re: Farmall 100 measurements?
Well that looks like a Fast-Hitch setup. Mine is just a regular drawbar turned around. Here is what it looks like mounted on my tractor.

Sorry yes my need is for the fast hitch set up.
Thank you so much for trying to help. The info will hopefully be of help to others as well.
Anyone have an A or 100 with a fast hitch that can help out?

Re: Farmall 100 measurements?
The rod diameter: 1 1/8" round
The length: Straight rod before bending is 37 3/4" and 37 3/8" overall length after bending
The location of the two holes at the bottom and their diameter: Center first 1/2" hole 7/8" in from end of rod. Center second 1/2" hole 2 1/8" in from end of rod.
The angle of bend at the top? 60 degrees (leaves 2 1/4" of straight rod at bottom of bend and 3" of straight rod at top of bend)
The bend end has a 1/2" hole centered on a 1 1/2" flat area (You have to grind each side of the bend end of the rod equally until it is 1/2" thick and achiving the 1 1/2" flat area. Bevel the flat area back to the round rod. This flattened bent end with the hole will fit in the rock shaft arm.
You can PM me if you need more info

Re: Farmall 100 measurements?
Have you checked with JP Tractor to see if they have one?

Re: Farmall 100 measurements?
Yes, the bail yoke part of the fast hitch needs this depth control rod hooked to it to make fine height adjustments. The 1-F151 double disk plow (name changed by IH Product Idetification Committee July 2, 1956), now known as the McCormick 1- F200 Disk plow needs the depth control rod. There was an optional gauge wheel attachment for this plow that prevented the plow from furrowing too deep.
Hope this helps you.

Re: Farmall 100 measurements?
I have the rod and figure I can make it easy, so I have not looked for a used one.
The plow I have has the gauge wheel attached it is the adjustment is rusted solid so I need to get that fixed.
With the depth control hooked up can I remove the wheel on the plow?
The bail yoke are pinned under the floor pan at the moment.

Re: Farmall 100 measurements?
Yes to fixing the adjustment wheel. Soak the treads with your favorite penatrating oil (Kroil, PB Blaster, Acetone/tranmission fluid, etc...) and try to move the adjustment handle every few days.
Since the depth wheel was an option, I suppose you could remove it but, I have never tried this. My guess would be that the plow would not follow the lay of the land as well without it. Others may chime in if this is not the case.
There should be a linkage piece with two holes in it holding the bail yoke under the floor board. You could use this linkage piece to layout the two 1/2" straight end holes in the depth rod you are going to fabricate.
Happy plowing....Stalkcutter

Re: Farmall 100 measurements?
Got the wheel adjustment freed up and working good but the tire and rim are in sad shape.
I hope to get it all apart tomorrow and see about find a tire and repairing the wheel.
If the rain don't drown me out maybe I can see about getting this beast work in a few more days.

Fix a flat.
After messing with several different wheel I decided this will never go flat.
