Late 54 after 356001 had the 123. I like the Super A-1 because of the 123 engine, their relative rarity, etc. But to be honest if you're a big feller like me, the earlier Super As with the smaller steering wheel are easier to drive!

There are lots of small running changes between late 47 and 1954. But as stated earlier they're all good!

At that point they really weren't Super As. You might as well get a 100.

They didn't have a Fast Hitch (at least from the factory)

I love my Super A. The later models will have automotive style tie-rod ends, which I think is a plus. Also don't rule out a 100, 130, or 140 as they are all basically the same. I would also condider a 1 point fast hitch, if you can find implements locally or if they come with the tractor.
