Henderson Loader on 140
I've looked through the forums and found that most install a Henderson loader on Cubs. Would it be the same for a 140?
Here is the setup
Is it possible to just connect here? Remove the plugs and attach the hoses?
Or would I need an isolation plate? I'm nowhere near any kind of supplier. Northern Ontario is far from most people familiar with these tractors.

I believe you can connect there. One is an inlet from the pump and the other is an outlet to the pump, I just never know which is which lol

Re: Henderson Loader on 140
No, you can't connect there. Neither the TC nor the loader will work.
In a closed center system you need one path for the hydraulic fluid to flow. Connecting to those fittings, you are essentially creating a TEE in the system, giving the oil two paths to flow. The oil will always take the path of least resistance, meaning that when you try to use the touch control, the oil will flow through the open loader valve, and if you try to use the loader, the oil will flow through the open touch control valves.
You need a BYPASS BLOCK to install under the hydraulic connection. These can be purchased off Ebay and shipped anywhere in the world.

Your pic seems to look like one of the lines need to be welded on the bypass block? This won't be a bolt on deal then?

Re: Henderson Loader on 140
Been looking everywhere for a bypass block, no one seems to have any more.
Looked on ebay worldwide as well.
May have to go with a PTO mounted pump. What is the GPM the Henderson loader requires?

Re: Henderson Loader on 140
This was the first thing listed when I did a google search:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hydraulic-By-pass-bypass-block-for-Farmall-Super-A-C-Super-C-/302041342212?hash=item4653112104:m:mdRuQHsezu9I8BlrscDDiYg
Nothing needs to be welded to install it. The brazing in the picture is from a repair to the original manifold, has nothing to do with the bypass block.

TM has the universal one that fits both a Cub and 140.

Re: Henderson Loader on 140
Ah yes, if you searched for a bypass block specifically for a 140, you'd come up dry... Sorry about that.
I should have mentioned that it's the same bypass block for the Super A and Super C. That fellow in Buffalo does nice work. I've got one of each of his bypass blocks. Currently using one on the Super C to control the fast hitch and a rear remote.

Re: Henderson Loader on 140
I finally got the bypass block in, going to try and mount it today. Being in Canada, it's next to impossible to find stuff for the 140.
I had to buy a U.S. shipping address, then had someone go pick it up and mail it to me....several weeks later and the temps are getting to almost freezing so it's now or never.
Thanks everyone for the help!

I am in Northern Ontario as well. I have couple suppliers.
Try Ontario Used Tractors.
Or Chas Richards & Sons. Both are very good.
