Buzz Saw for a Farmall A

Postby OliverFarmall » Sun Oct 30, 2016 7:22 pm

I'm looking at a buzz saw that's supposed to be for a Farmall A.
The ad says it fits a Super A as well as the regular A would that be correct ? I have just a plain A not a Super I want to make sure it actually would.

Hello, Looks like a Bulter saw, I've got one that fits on the rear of the tractor, that could be used on my Cub ( with 1 support leg farthest away from the rear of the tractor ), depending on the "flat belt" pulley location "between" the 2 support rails it would work on a Cub or A,B,C ! Then looking at the ad , it appears it might hook on to the front of a tractor , with the drive pulley outside the 2 long frame rails , the saw might be attached outside the other rails, maybe for a H or M ?

Looks like the drive pulley is in the middle where it would belong for an A on the rear.
Thanks for the reply it's almost 2 hours from me and I didn't want to go on a wild goose chase if I got it.

Our neighbor has one that mounts on the front of his H we've used that to sharpen fence posts.

My error , this is the style I have seen at the antique tractor shows with the long guide rails ! Mine has much shorter rails , I thing it was designed for a Cub with a "fast hitch" , and attaching directly to the hitch, and 1 leg in the rear, for support ! Lee
