Touch Contol Rebuild
I am working on rebuilding the touch control on my Super AV, I have everything cleaned up and new seals installed. Everything is ready to go back in. I paid close attention to where everything goes back but did not pay attention to the orientation of the holes. For example the control valves (#34 in manual) have holes on one side... do they point toward the inside of unit or outside? And the four actuators (#13A & #16A in manual) have hole going through the middle... is there a proper orientation for these holes?

Re: Touch Contol Rebuild
There is a HOW TO for the Cub TC Rebuild that has some great photos. The system is pretty much the same as the SA (SA just has twice as many valves!), so it should help. Good luck!

Great "How To", but I do not see any indication of whether the orientation matters when you reinstall...

Re: Touch Contol Rebuild
When I rebuilt my SA TC, I thought the assembly was similar to the photos in this HOW TO:

Let me know if the orientation isn't clear or doesn't apply, and I will see if I have photos. It's been a while since the SA rebuild!

Also, here is the page from Rudi's SA Parts manual, and if you look closely, you might be able to make out the directions for each part.

Re: Touch Contol Rebuild
Thanks for all your help. Yeah the "How To" for the cub is a great resource, but does not indicate that the holes need to be oriented a certain way. I also had thought about the parts manual. I can see the direction of the holes in the diagram, but wasn't sure if it was just drawn that way to show it or it was oriented correctly. Any way, that's why I was asking. Thanks again for you assistance...

Re: Touch Contol Rebuild
Are you talking about these? The check valves? If so, then no, the orientation doesn't matter.

Yes I was talking about those and the control valves... I have it back together now. Thanks for response.
