Different Types/ Weights of Oil & Lubrication

Postby BohemianJon » Sat Jul 29, 2017 10:51 am

I've lost my "cheat sheet" for the different types and/or weights of lubrication and oils for my 130. Nothing in my Service Manual where I use to keep it. I've got the oil filter on an old note as a Fram 135 and the engine and air cleaner oil as SAE30 but am not sure these are correct. Want to change the Steering lub...the PTO and maybe some others like the transmission while I'm at it. Want to use the right stuff. Recall seeing a listing somewheres but can't find it ...so how about some HELP and/or guidance. Thank you.

You can down load the a service manual for a Farmall Cub, Quick links above, left. The lubrication chart in the rear of the service manual will suffice for a 130.
I have an excuse. CRS.

The Preventive Maintenance Manual listed under Cub in the PDF manuals covers the 140, which would give you the locations and volumes for the 130. It probably won't mention the fan hub and will have slightly updated fluid types (lists Hy-Tran for gear boxes that probably had 90 gear oil in the 130).
