Aftermarket Sheetmetal Source

Postby AL Farmall Boy » Wed Oct 25, 2017 12:20 pm

I know that a few years back someone was offering new reproduction cowls/nose pieces for the Super A, 100, and 130 tractors. I can't seem to find them now. Was that OEM Tractor Parts making and selling those? If so, that probably explains the reason for them not being found now.

Yep. Why somebody didn’t buy the tooling and keep making them I’ll never know....

Yeah, of all suppliers, you'd think Steiner would have done so. It would be nice to find out who bought it. I'd like to make several of them.

Funny you should mention, I saw this on yesterdaystractors.com. I don't know any other details.....I'd prefer real steel, the OEM grilles were DEAD-ON.

With the vibration inherent in a tractor, I’d be concerned about the durability of Fiberglas, unless you shock-mounted it.
