Farmall 100 seized
I just inherited a farmall 100 that is is great shape but it has been sitting for about 4 or 5 years. I put new gas in it, changed the oil and had to replace the points, plugs and wires to get it started. After warming up it ran great, I ran it for about an hour yesterday and again last night for a while around the yard. Today I went to start it and the engine is seized. I think that maybe the thermostate was stuck or something after sitting for so long and the engine overheated. Any comments or suggestions, help!!!!

First, remove the plugs and make sure you don't have a cylinder full of gas. It could also be the starter jammed against the ring gear. It doesn't necessarily mean really bad news.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
