Hi Guys. I know nothing about them but I pulled up to a garage yesterday with what seems to be later model 140. I know nothing about them. It had a Square front end and Decals not emblems so i'm figuring it's a early mid 60's or towards the model production. I'm only fimilular with Cubs so are these things worth anything and how were they as a tractor.

The 140 is a great tractor, standard 540rpm pto, and nice horsepower range in the 20 to 30 hp range. In general, the 140s are worth more than cubs, and will obviously do a bit more work. They are also easy to convert to standard 3-point hitch, if it has not been done already. The first thing that you'll notice is the considerable size and power differnece. Then you'll put it on a trailer and realize just how much bigger and heavier it is than a cub.

Go for it!

Nice Yeah I left a note in the guys mailbox about 20 mins ago. The cub I can only see the frontend but I see no Stack exhaust on it so must be mid to late 50's. I've lived in that town for over 20 years i've been driving by them. They are in a open Garage but I know they have not moved for at least 10-15 years. Thanks for the insight.
