I found a good looking farmall 130 today its a 1959 with the dirt plows and snow plow and it has the fast hitch too. It looks decent yet i didn't hear it run nor a price yet. I was wondering what a Farmall 130 is worth? I was thinking of making an offer he couldn't refuse.......

Is the farmall 130 a newer super A?

Bill - yes the 100 series tractors were essentially later versions of the super A. Around here, they hold their value quite well. Running from about $2000 to as high as $3500 (asking price) for nice ones.

a farmall 100 replaced the Super A, then the 130 replaced the 100 in 1957. They go in range from $500 to $2500. $2500 is in great shape above and beyond average. I would say pick your own price. they are great little tractor. more fun then a barrel of monkeys

He took my phone number and said he may call me to sell it. I'm going to wait for a while then take a look at it and offer cash.

Here in Maryland you could get around 2,000 for just the tractor with no equipment but you don't see them that much around here. You could sell the tractor with the front blade for and the plow for around $2,500 to $3,000.

I figure to add it to my collection. I have a 52 Fcub & a 71 int154 cub loboy already. I always wanted a Super A and the bigger farmalls too. (maybe an "H") Then i'd be happy with my little collection of IH tractors. :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}:

Then its play time for sure.

Is this farmall 130 the last of these models in this size("A"/super A/100)? Is this a good model to have?

The 130's are nice. When they changed over to the 140's they went to the square body style. The 130's are much more appealing to me.

I did notice the name plate says "INTERNATIONAL 130" did they drop the farmall and become int's?

At all www.alltractordata.com they list international tractors and farmall tracors seperate.

Forgive me i'm learing some stuff as I go its int/farmall tractor history i guess.

Now my '52 FCub is a McCormic/Farmall right?

"Internationals" were usually sold to industrial users for uses such as roadside mowing. Does it have a foot throttle? A lot of the International ones did, it might also have the heavy-duty square front axle. Also, you see fewer of the International models, so it might be a little more collectible.

Bill,

I have a 1957 130.
They are an awesome machine. Lots of power to move snow. They are a visual treat as well. For the Farmall Lover in you.

Tobacco farmers in the Brightleaf Belt prefer the 100s & 130s over a 140. The values you've been quoted are prolly good but condition has a big impact!

Billl, :bellylaugh: Thats what I said when I got my first Super A. That was about 10 tractors ago :D
The 140 was the next Bill, here in Va the 140 was and still is the king of cultivating tractors
