1960 140 gov problemwhen you move the throtle lever it does not change the engine speed you have to manually move the carb linkage. when you look in oil cap on gov. you can see the weight move hooked to the shaft tha truns across to the carb but the weight hooked to the throttle lever does not move at all any ideas or diagrams would be helpful

Re: 1960 140 gov problemSounds like a broken governor spring. It is inside the governor housing. Look in the parts catalog for an exploded diagram.
