I picked this up a couple sundays ago runs great was pretty close to home. No breaks or welds except for the welds below the front axles I will be looking for some new ones. But I rarely see 100s or 130s around here and am hoping to someday have the complete line for 57

That's a beauty. I have one too.
I'm in a very sloooooowww process of restoring it to it's former red self.
Hope to be pushing snow with it next winter.

Really looks good! It still looks funny to me to see a 100,130, or 140 without a fast hitch....

I know I wish it had a fast hitch might try to find one but I know they are pretty expensive.

Looks good MO :{_}:

The 130's are my favorite tractor. I have a std 130 and a industrial 130 and love them both.

Thanks Ed

Things are moving along. Can't wait to get things tied up around the house so I can get back to the farm.

Hope all is well with you my friend.

Dumb question from a complete novice on the number series. Was the 130 the last of the "round hood" classic tractors? The 140 has a square-nose...correct?

Thanks!

I can confirm the 140 has a square hood. I am not sure if there were any more round hood tractors after the 140 came out.

The 100/130 were styled like the 300/400 and 350/450. The 140 was styled (initially) like the 460/560. Later on, they revised the grille slightly to make the 140 resemble more like a 706 or a early-ish 656. But yes, the 140 had a "square" nose, but retained the teardrop-shaped gas tank that goes all the way back to the '39 A.... :D
