Ok I bought this 100 about 3 years ago well traded my 56 cub for it. This 100 is my work horse, fast hitch and 1000 loader. Anyway when I got it the guy told me it would get some coolant in the oil and he was told it probably was the sleeve o-ring leaking by. Not wanting to tear it apart I have been keeping an eye on it. Well all this time I got thinking when it sits from week to week it will miss for a few seconds maybe 20 or so. I am wondering if the head gasket is leaking into the cylinder and it misses untill the coolant burns off? Does this sound possible? What can I do to test this theroy out?
any suggestions?
thanks
Chad

It sure does sound like a faulty head gasket. You should probably check the inside of the block and the head for cracks too. Take the radiator cap off while running and see if the coolant is making bubbles. If so, you've got air somewhere. Hopefully the head gasket will fix the proble,m
