Super C Plow

I am in the process of buying a 2 bottom mounted plow for my Super C. It seems there were (at least) 3 models - C-294, C-295 and C-295-A. Does anyone know how to tell them apart? I want to get a manual, and want to make sure I get the right one (Don't want to get 3 manuals!)

Thanks,

Eric

OK, so I see that the C-294 does not mount with axel clamps, and my plow does. Now I'm looking for the difference between the C-295 and C-295-A

I have one illustration each of the C-294 and C-295A. The differences I can see:
294:
Pulls from front subframe mounted to bell housing and front bolster.
Lifted by large rear rockshaft with flat lifting arms, mounted to transmission housing.
Tilt adjustment done with eccentric bolts at front of beam.
295A:
Pulls from subframe mounted to bell housing and with axle clamps.
Lifted by rear rockshaft with round lifting arm, mounted to plow subframe.
Tilt adjustment done with crank mechanism with handle near right headlight.

I assume the 295 and 295A are very similar. One that shares a few features of the 294 and 295A may be a 295. Of course, for an extra investment of no more than $20 you can buy both manuals and be the expert.

Thanks, Jim. My plow appears very similar to the illustration that you reprinted in Red Power in an article on the fast hitch a few years ago. I assume that's the C-295-A

If you are looking at the illustration I think you are, it is the same C-295A illustration I was looking at.
