i am concidering buying this super c i found near me. it not in running order as it sits. i could not find the hand crank to see if the motor is stuck. it dose look like its all there, exaust has been covered, sheet metal is strait, gas tank is in good shape, has a 3pt conversion. the seller dose not know much about the tractor, i belive it was his fathers. i think it just needs a little love to get it running if theres no internal damage. i think i can pick it up for 500. you think thats a decent deal? what should i look out for on these c's? i might keep it with my cub or get her running and try to make a little and reselling and finally restore my cub

I would think it is worth that even as a parts tractor. As mentioned - the wide front end alone would get you most of your money back.

No, in my youth we used to cruz the Delta and from time to time would tie up in Locke and go eat at Al's. Later when I lived in Pollock Pines, I took care of television equipment at the tall towers near Locke. When I'm in the area I get my fix of steak, peanut butter and homemade apricot jam for sure.

Not a rare option but highly desireable and very popular.
