I can't add much beyond what's already been said. The C series were great tractors. I too would try to get a Super C over a C, preferably a Super C with Fast Hitch. Don't over-look the 200--basically a Super C with revised sheet metal, and the 230, which was basically a 200 with a two tone paint job and Hydra-Touch hydraulics. The 230 had a little different fast hitch linkage and to me I think it's better than the fast hitch on the earlier ones. Anyway, C, Super C, 200, 230 I don't think you'll be disappointed. Our old 230 has a single front wheel and a size bigger piston. It is gutsy for its size. I laid by a lot of corn with the 230 and a 300 gal. John Blue nitrogen sprayer and though the 230 had a load behind it, it handled it great. These tractors handle wonderfully--almost like having power steering--and are very comfortable to drive.

I'm 21, and just bought my first Farmall C, something I've wanted ever since I was grasshopper high. We have a camper at a local campground that my parents have been camping at since before I was born, the owner has a John Deere utility tractor, and a Farmall C that he uses to pull the wagon for hay rides. When I was about 6 or 7 he'd let me sit on his lap and steer the C around while we pulled all the other kids on the haywagon. I always felt like such a badass driving the tractor which at the time felt huge. Ever since then I've wanted one in a bad way, and finally came across one locally for a price I could afford. It's rusty, but fires right up and runs. Going to shine this one up to look as good as my H and M!

Beautiful tractors!!! I am completely new to tractors, but just bought my very first Super C and I love it! One quick question, is a "fast hitch" the same thing as a single point hitch?

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Thank you. Do I need to convert it then or can I find fast hitch implements fairly easily?

what makes my cub very rare is that it's the only one I've ever owned.

Depending on what you are looking for fast hitch implements can be as easy to find as non-fast hitch. They are a darn sight easier to work with.
