I bought a C yesterday at auction and notice that it is much shorter in height than the SC, can someone tell me the major differences in the two, I know about the bore ?

It is a non runner, but I don't think it will take a lot to get it started. The best part is that it was priced right .

Re: C ? and pics
Yes Cecil that will keep us from having to go shopping with the wives, so it was a good investment . I was starting to run out of projects (not).

For some reason I don't think going shopping with the wives is really high on my things to do. LOL

Re: C ? and pics
Not a lot of difference from the SC. Engine, brakes, SC had wider tires but diameter on the back was the same. SC actually had smaller diameter tires but wider. You shouldn't be able to see any difference in height in my opinion.

Isn't the engine taller on the SC.

Re: C ? and pics
The estate auction had 13 tractors , 12 were antique , two were in running condition . Most brought salvage prices, which was appropriate . This C was was in the best physical condition , most we're very rough. There was 1 Cub, however someone else was willing to pay more than me, it was also pretty rough. The engine on the C is free, I will get in to it soon hopefully get it running. I did pay salvage price for it .

Re: C ? and pics
I believe that the hood sits higher on the Super C vs. the C. The C does not normally have a water pump. It has a cooling system similar to the Cub.
