Re: manifold studs
You can purchase studs from auto parts stores, hardware stores, tractor dealerships.
How much of the broken stud remains?

Re: manifold studs
Studs will unbolt in the normal direction.
As I read the post the manifold and head are still in place. If you can not get a tool, vise grips, pipe wrench, on the stud you may have to remove enough of the stud to bring it down to the mounting hole size, then remove the manifold and head. That should leave you enough stud to grip and remove.

Re: manifold studs
They are normal right hand threads, turn to the left to remove. threads are normally different on each end. May or may not come out hard, depends on how long since last removed.

Re: manifold studs
Ok thank you all for helping me. I am putting new manifolds on both tractors and found out they had a stud sheared off that's why I asked.
