Re: Super C FH Prong Dimensions
One-point implements onto a Super C? I doubt you really want to do that. The Super C prongs are 1/2 inch less in the vertical direction, if that is the dimension you are looking for.

Re: Super C FH Prong Dimensions
That is the dimension I am looking for, thanks. I have a bunch of 1/2" stock and can make some up.
The grading blade is a 3 point set up and I put a 1 pt prong in the middle so it works on my quick hitch on the FCub and on the Loboy FH. I would modify it for 2 prongs because it is a 6.5ft heavy blade and would be great for the SC. It is a real load for the Loboy. I like futzing with things like this.

Re: Super C FH Prong Dimensions
It'll be a Triceratops with all the prongs coming out of it, but it will work on all 3 tractors OR I could make the prongs and attach the quick hitch and use it as a 3 point.

Re: Super C FH Prong Dimensions
I agree that the fast hitch two prong implements work well, and fairly easy to hitch up with a little planning. I opted to do a variation of a 3 point utilizing the 2 point fast hitch and a top link connection at the location of right angle belt drive.
Here's what it looks like hooked to a finish mower. If you click on the picture it should bring up a larger image.

Re: Super C FH Prong Dimensions
That is what I am planning to do. I have almost everything 3 point...carryalls, grader blade, etc so I want to make a couple of prongs for the SC and put on a top link so all the tractors can use all the attachments.

I can't tell from the picture. Is your top link bracket just attached to the existing holes in the pulley housing? If so, handle it gently.

Yes it is. I removed the right angle pulley assembly and built a "box" out of 1/2" plate the uses the 4 - 1/2" mounting holes where the r/a pulley was attached. I was attempting to replicate this.
...and this is what I came up with.
It seems pretty stout. Jim, are those 4 holes the ones you were referring to?

Re: Super C FH Prong Dimensions
No, what you have is fine. I was afraid when you said "at the location of right angle belt drive" that you had the pulley housing still in place and used the 2 smaller bolt holes in the pulley housing.

The modified 3 point works ok. The biggest "hitch" - pardon the bad pun - is the geometry is off between the FH and the top link. That causes whatever you have hooked up to pivot as it goes up or down which requires adjusting the top link in or out to accommodate the pivoting. I haven't tried yet but I think a hydraulic top link is in order. ...or come up with one of these.

Re: Super C FH Prong Dimensions
Makes sense...imagine the implement will tip forward as it lifts because the cylinder lifts straight up and down whereas my cub adapter lifts in an slight arc. In the meantime, I have mucho grinding, cutting and milling on these 1" arms I need to fab....I will cross that top link bridge later. Thanks

Re: Super C FH Prong Dimensions
I got my top link bracket on and the homemade prongs...and you are absolutely right. There is no arc so the pitch on the load changes. The front to back tilt helps but the only way to stop this would the that the top link goes up and down with the cylinder...no arc.
Anyway, worked well enough on the grading blade and I had alot of fun doing it.

Re: Super C FH Prong Dimensions
Ray-Finally around to Plan B since the top link bracket on the tractor didn't work very well because of the vertical lift vs the arc lift. I adapted a 3 point hitch so it would pin to the arms I made and got a short top link and it works great! Note the pick attached.
Last Sunday we had 75mph winds and we lost a big pine near the house....we hear about a hurricane 2 weeks ahead of time and not one peep about this storm. Anyway, I cut it into 4 ft hunks, hooked up the quick hitch to the new rig, got ahold of my pallet forks and was able to load up some pretty big pieces directly into the trailer.
