hello from central ohio

I'm on this site because I have a 1958 cub lowboy. I also have a 1949 farmall c .I wonder if any farmall person can answer a question about my c. Every picture I've seen of this tractor has a horizontal distributor. Mine has a vertical distributor.?

Vertical distributor is aftermarket, probably Delco. It may have been installed to replace a weak magneto.

I agree with Jim. When I was growing up, we had an H with the vertical, Delco distributor. No issues with it.
