Brakes

Postby ajhbike » Mon Feb 05, 2018 8:42 am

Ordered up new disk brakes, boots and springs for the SC....watched Wrenching with Rachel how to and it was easy peasy. What a difference. A local guy with an H told me I should have sealed the seam for the outer cover to keep the water out, but mine was bone dry and it sat out forever before I got it. Thoughts?

I have only had dealings with disk brakes one one tractor and it was a little bigger than yours (560), and it had gotten water in the brakes and rusted up the track for the actuator ball, etc. We put sealer on the top half, but left it off the bottom half hoping that if it got any water in it including condensation it would drain out.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
