Farmall Cub

I just have cubs but the other day I found a 706 grown up in the weeds. It has a full cab with good glass. I was just wanting a little info on these tractors, I think I might try to buy it. Do the cabs have heat and air. Where the radio's and all that available on the 706's. What years did they make them? What What kind of hp, it's a big tractor. Are they good tractors? I just can't find any info on these tractors. I just always wanted a cab tractor, it just has that look about it. Thanks Brandon.

Brandon, the cab would have had heat but no air, some added air as aftermarket. Yes it could have had a radio. Bear in mind these are aftermarket cabs. they were made in the mid 60's. They were made with either a 263 cubic inch gas or a 282 diesel engine. If memory serves me correctly about 70-75 horse. Had two of them years ago, both diesels, tough as nails, and good on fuel.

These tractors are right and the above info is correct or close enough...there is just one problem with a 706 and that's the brakes, becasue its a closed hydraulic system if the tractor ever shuts down you also loose your brakes. So if you live in a hilly area stay away from this if you plan to farm, but for restoring or just playing you'll be fine.
