I bought this W6, one owner, from the South Island last year from an old chappie now in his late 80's it was his pride and joy. He sold it to me on the proviso that it would be restored to its original condition which was my intention. It has original rubber all round, muffler, and the brakes and clutch have never been adjusted. It was parked in his shed unused for many years covered in bird droppings. I am now a very proud owner and really looking forward to a workout.
Before and after pics.

Yes a photo was sent to him, and it brought tears to the poor old chap's eyes, but he's over the moon with it.

Did you show the Chap, his old tractor? I'll bet he teared a bit. Recollecting it's early, glory years.
Great Job!

Hey W6NZ...You've not only been TRUE to your PROMISE...But, you've done a MARVELOUS RESTORATION! 8)

You must be filled to overflowin' with PRIDE (as you should be  ) for all that you've accomplished...I only hope you get a chance to meet the original owner and get his photo to go with your BEFORE picture. 8) You might want to take along a mini cassette recorder, just to get down some of his stories about how he used it.
